The NFL world experienced its most exhilarating second half. Minnesota was down 0-33 at halftime. The Colts looked well on their way to ousting Minnesota. But the Vikings weren’t going to let victory slip away so easily. They came back and outscored the dumbfounded Colts, pushing the game into overtime. Holding on with all their might, a 40-yard field goal confirmed what could be one of the greatest comebacks of all time.
Kirk Cousins and the Vikings pulled off a huge comeback that had their fans staring open-mouthed in disbelief
While the Vikings could not wrap the game up with a touchdown during overtime, they steadily moved downfield. QB Cousins was instrumental in this. K.J. Osborn, Adam Thielen, and Justin Jefferson moved the ball to set up a field goal. Greg Joseph’s 40-yard field goal sealed the deal and Minnesota won the game 39-36.

A deafening roar from the crowd was heard as the field goal went through, completely awe-struck by their home team’s brilliance. NFL Insider Ian Rapoport tweeted, “The greatest comeback in NFL history.” The Vikings indeed made one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history and the fans were speechless. Speechless according to the NFL world obviously means taking to Twitter to virtually scream their excitement and take shots at whoever is losing. And they did just that.
Not everyone is impressed by the display put on by Cousins and the Vikings
NFL Network’s Dov Kleiman did not hesitate to speak about what he thought of the Colts’ QB, Matt Ryan. He said, “33-0 lead. 28-3 lead. Doesn’t matter, Matt Ryan will find a way to lose the game.” Here Kleiman is referring to the 28-3 Super Bowl LI comeback by Tom Brady and the Patriots when Ryan was with the Atlanta Falcons.

🤨Should we really congratulate them that they pulled this off against the colts, instead of pulling it off against the cowboys? pic.twitter.com/uyKAbuCpVb

Another user is not so impressed by the victory
Minnesota now has 300,000 people who will tell stories for decades about how they went to the game and didn’t leave at halftime

One fan is rather presumptuous with this question
Thoughts on the future Super Bowl champions Vikings win today???

This user is unimpressed with the Vikings’ victory and elaborates on the reasons
Meh. Against a mediocre team with an older qb and their top rb out. And a temp HC.
Overcoming a 32 point deficit in the PLAYOFFS is much more impressive.
