Brady already has joined Mark Davis and taken over the WNBA franchise Las Vegas Aces, and the players are simply elated. One of the Aces’ pivotal stars Kelsey Plum took to Instagram to share her emphatic reactions at the news.

“I thought it was a sick joke. I thought it was a prank, but it’s real and I’m just super excited. ” exclaimed an elated Plum.
The WNBA champion further clarified that she hasn’t had a chance to connect with Brady yet, but had concrete plans to kickstart the relationship, “Not yet. I’m saving that special moment and it’s coming, so stay tuned, I’m not going to say anything. I’m just going to hug him.”
Plum’s reaction was a direct reflection of the respect Tom Brady commands not just in the NFL, but all branches of sports. And with Brady now focused on the Raiders, a similar reception is expected if the deal does go through.

Brady aligning with the Raiders would not hamper the Fox deal, even though a conflict of interest could be in question. Reportedly, Fox Sports have blessed the proposition, and conflict would arise only if Brady held an authoritative positive at Fox.

However, for Brady to extend his influence to the Raiders’ ownership group, he would need the approval of all 24 NFL owners, but that shouldn’t be much of an issue for Tom Brady. A similar situation presented itself with the Miami Dolphins where Brady was offered a playing position along with ownership stakes in 2021 and 2022. But we all know how that turned out. NFL slammed the Dolphins for tampering, losing first-round picks in the 2023 NFL draft. But the Raiders’ situation entails a different narrative. And the NFL fans are happy as long as Brady is involved, no matter the capacity.
