On Thursday, WNBA superstar Brittney Griner finally gets her freedom from a Russian jail, As US officials swapped her for a Russian arms dealer, Viktor Bout after months of negotiation. Interestingly, a few days back, NFL reporter Chris Law took to social media and suggested his way of getting Griner back from Russia. He proposed to trade American rapper, Kanye West and former Bucs WR, Antonio Brown for Griner.
It is worth noting that both West and Brown are in a hot mess right now, after attracting a lot of controversies lately. After making some controversial tweets, West was banned from Twitter. On the other hand, Brown is a wanted man after the police issued an arrest warrant against Brown for domestic violence charges. Hence, the NFL reporter made that suggestion.

In that tweet, he spoke for every decent person on Earth, which could be true for the most part. Because West and Brown have been 2 of the most controversial figures in America for the last few months. Recently, West finalized his divorce from Kim Kardashian. Before that, his controversial tweets landed him in hot water. He started losing many brand deals and even Balenciaga and Adidas cut their ties with West.

As for Brown, the Tampa Police charged him with a domestic violence case against the mother of his children. Since then, he is a wanted man, as the Police failed to capture him after attempting multiple times. Meanwhile, he has resumed his social media activity, posting some weird stuff lately.

On Thursday, it was great news for Griner and her family, as the US officials finally made a deal with the Russian officials, regarding the release of the WNBA player. However, they could not free Ret. Marine, Paul Whelan, as he still remains in Russian Prison. According to US Officials, Griner will land in San Antonio, Texas; however, it is uncertain when she will land in the country.
