The 1st round of the NBA playoffs has produced some hot discussion topics so far. However, the main topic of discussion everywhere has to be the Brooklyn Nets and Kevin Durant. The Nets are currently trailing the Boston Celtics by 0-3 and are on the verge of getting swept in the 1st round.

Brooklyn Nets were among the favorites to win the championship this season. However, injuries to star players and the exit of James Harden derailed their season. Even after facing such adversities, the Nets were able to make it to the playoffs.

They were matched up with the Boston Celtics, who were the most in-form team in the league. Despite that, the Nets were expected to take care of the business. Surprisingly, the Nets are on the verge of an exit in 1st round.

Fans and Analysts worldwide have been disgusted by KD’s performance against Boston. Hall of Famer Charles Barkley unleashed a rant on Kevin Durant following his continuous struggles against Boston’s defense.

Charles Barkley claimed that Kevin Durant was a ‘Bus Rider’ and claimed he cant ‘Drive the Bus.’ Barkley’s comments were directed towards KD’s championships in Golden State, where he wasn’t his team leader.

Eagles CB Darius Slay comes into KD’s defense

There haven’t been many people who have defended Kevin Durant for his horrible performances. However, one NFL veteran came into KD’s defense following Barkley’s comments on him.

Darius Slay, the cornerback of the Philadelphia Eagles, tweeted and came in the Nets’ star defense. He said, “KD can drive a bus tho!!” Unsurprisingly, Darius trusts KD’s ability to lead his teams.

Kevin Durant will be eager to shut his critics in game four against the Celtics. Notably, if he doesn’t step up this time, further criticism will be sent to him.
