Tyreek Hill is hands down one of the fastest players in American sports right now. The rapid wide receiver can flash past any defender he chooses to. While he still has the fastest 40-yard dash record among the active players right now. The wideout’s belief in his ability goes beyond the sport of football itself. In fact, he even challenged Usain Bolt earlier this year, certainly fancying his chances against the former Olympics gold medalist. Even though the duo never raced it out, Hill’s still as sure about his chances.
The star wide receiver joined Shannon Sharpe on his podcast ‘Club Shay Shay’ recently. There Sharpe questioned the player over his indestructible confidence in his running, and the Hill did not disappoint. When talking about Usain Bolt and his previous challenge to the sprinter. Hill said, “Usain Bolt washed up. Like there comes a point in your life where you get older and the new generation comes in. Like washed up.” According to the Super Bowl winner in a 40-yard dash, Bolt has no chance of beating him.

Bolt himself replied to the post on Instagram. However, he did not indulge in the trash talk and simply put up a wave emoji to acknowledge Hill’s comments.
Tyreek Hill challenged Usain Bolt earlier this year
While Tyreek has come to be known as the ‘Cheetah’ in the NFL, he has actively challenged other players to prove his worth. Earlier this year, Hill took an interview with ESPN in Las Vegas for the NHL All-Star Game, where he challenged the sleeping giant. But Bolt was quick to shut any possibilities of a race with a diss on Tyreek.

Bolt posted a picture of the ‘Cheetah’ losing a race against Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys. But Hill did not take too long to respond to the sprinting legend. “Usain Bolt got out of the game for a reason, right?” Hill told reporters. “He’s old, he’s washed up, and he can’t see me in 40 yards. 100-yard dash, yes, that’s what he do. But 40-yard dash, according to this, Usain Bolt, you cannot see me.”

Whether the race actually happens or not is yet to be seen. But in order to answer the debate once and for all, it should happen. Although looking at age as a factor, Bolt might be at a huge disadvantage.
