The former Buccaneers quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, happened to be one of the most stylish passers in the league. One of the most prominent and popular outfits that went viral was the moment when he appeared like Conor McGregor at the press conference in 2018. Well, it turns out, this was not the first time for the veteran.

Fitzpatrick played for 17 seasons in the league, with nine different teams making him the only quarterback to score passing and rushing touchdowns with eight other franchises. Apart from his football success, the 39-year-old was always on the news for his crazy outfits and savage responses to the media.

While speaking in an interview, a few years ago, the NFL superstar mentioned that he was compared to the MMA legend Conor McGregor inside a Mall of America last year.

“The first time I heard it was last year. We were playing Minnesota, so I was walking around the Mall of America, and somebody came up to me and started talking to me about my fight with Mayweather,” he said to the reporters.

“And it took me a minute, I didn’t really know what they were talking to, and then when they walked away, I came to the realization that they thought I was Conor McGregor. Which, I think I’m a little bit probably bigger and chubbier than he is,” he added to his explanation. Just like his dressing sense, Fitzpatrick’s level of playing the game was out of the world.

Ryan Fitzpatrick was an exceptional QB

Over the years, Ryan Fitzpatrick has showcased his classic performances in the league. The Pro Bowler played for Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2017 and 2018, cementing his records for most passing and rushing the ball towards the end zone.

He was the only player in NFL history to start two games throwing for 400 or more yards and recording four touchdowns in each game. “Every week is a revenge game for me,” Fitzpatrick told the Washington media last year, “because I’ve been on every dang team in the NFL,” he added.
