The Monday Night Football ManningCast by the Hall of Famer Peyton Manning and Eli Manning happens to be one of the favorite shows of NFL fans. The Manning brothers host several celebrities, and this time, it was Giants’ Running back Saquon Barkley who joined the panel and talked about his epic reaction to Serena Williams’ game at the US Open.

It was a disappointing exit for the Tennis legend Serena Williams who faced Australia’s Ajla Tomljanović in the final game of her career. The third round of the encounter for Williams was between a star-studded audience on the court.

Several celebrities across the sports fraternity attended the game to extend their support for Williams. Boxing legend Mike Tyson, Academy Award-winning director Spike Lee, supermodel Bella Hadid, and NFL stars Russell Wilson and Saquon Barkley were a few of them.

It was a nail-biting thriller, and the fans enjoyed every moment of it, although Williams had to walk out unsatisfied.

For each shot, it was Barkley who gave crazy reactions and got captured by the camera. The snippet went viral in no time, and fans started speculating as if he had baited 100k on the game. While speaking about the incident on ManningCast, the HoFer quarterback asked him about these reactions. Barkley affirmed that he was too involved in the game.

“I was getting into it. I was putting myself in that situation. And at that moment. I’m not good at tennis. I only played it once,” he said on the show. “She got to play up there, she didn’t get the win, she won the whole thing. But you know, obviously, it was her last match. She was grinding, and I was locked in and enjoying,” Barkley spoke about Williams in that game.

The Broncos legend Peyton Manning is nailing his second phase of life by venturing into the broadcasting industry. Despite getting a booth offer, the former QB declined the proposal. Because he didn’t want to dedicate four days per week and his precious weekends.

“I learned on the broadcasting that the commitment to be gone every weekend, that there are no home games when it comes to broadcasting,” Manning said on Colin Cowherd”s podcast. “It’s a four-day commitment. I wanted my fall weekends to be free,” he added to his explanation.

The entire offseason, Manning was busy guiding his successor at Denver and grooming him for the orange jersey. It was a disappointment for the Broncos in the season opener; however, Manning is hopeful that his team will come out better in Week 2.
