It feels like an end of an era. The tennis legend, Serena Williams, played her last match against Ajla Tomljanović. The young talent, who has been hitting the net regularly, defeated Williams. Winning against the GOAT is certainly a surreal moment. Although it was difficult, as Tomljanović had to play amazingly at the US Open 2022 to match the brilliance of her opponent. As it was the last tournament of The Tennis Playing Truck, the interviewers gave her the spotlight.

However, this captivating gesture did not sit well with the cornerback of the Baltimore Ravens. The 26-year-old, Marlon Humphrey, is a First-Team All-Pro and 2X Pro Bowl champion. The young defense guard followed the last tournament excitingly. He tweeted: “Not even gone act like I watched a single other match of Serena in my life buttt that was some fight..!” The Ravens’ Star also put out another tweet talking about the interview.

In the interview, as is expected of players struck with emotions, she thanked her supporters. Especially her family member. “Thank you, Daddy. I know you’re watching.” Then she burst into tears when she uttered the word “mom.”
There would be no Serena Williams without her sister, Venus Williams. It was a heartfelt moment for Williams. But the interview did not please Humphrey.

Quite possibly, the interview Ajla Tomljanović gave to the reporters was difficult. Because she had to find the appropriate words to pay tribute to the tennis star, Serena Williams. While also expressing how great she felt after beating the GOAT of the sport.
The winner of the tournament said, “I’m feeling really sorry because I love Serena just as much as you guys do. … This is a surreal moment for me.” Just like many watchers, the 29-year-old tennis player believed Williams would beat her.
