In a tweet that’s shorter than 10 words, Goodberry almost discredited the superstar as quickly as he tweeted about him. His words, “I don’t know who this man is.” This was just moments after Messi set foot in the MLS making his debut with Inter Miami. One fan took out the graphs to educate the analyst as he tweeted, “No hate but that’s crazy, he’s legitimately more popular than LeBron James and Tom Brady combined.”

The Bengals analysts’ words only incited rage from the soccer fanatics as they invited themselves to inform him of the man he was passing over with his tweet. Having won 2 ESPYs and a world cup in the past 12 months, the fans weren’t gonna let the shade pass by.
