Pro football and soccer are two of the most diverse games that demand incredible strength and endurance. One thing is common between them, and that is speed. In fact, pace plays an essential role in all kinds of sports.
Often players in the sports fraternity, specifically between the NFL and soccer, have a debate about their skill sets. Former NFL superstar Chad Johnson joined the FOX studio, among other panelists to discuss scccer on game nights.

Surprised Johnson, without a second thought picked himself. He referred to his past treadmill skills where he breached the 25 miles hour mark.
“It ain’t no 60. I’m gonna get out in the first 20. I’m winning first. Did you just not see me running? Not long ago, that was this year. Where I ran 25 miles per hour.” Johnson asked the panelists, who couldn’t believe his predictions.
“I’m talking about the treadmill thing. How fast is that? It’s 25 miles an hour. I am just as fast. I think you guys have never seen me run. That’s the problem.” he added, downplaying the 23-year-old Mbappe, who has been phenomenal this year.
Well, this question is debatable for a large portion of the audience because Johnson has been known for his pace in the NFL world. All those six Pro Bowls, 11,000+ receiving yards, has their origin in Johnson’s blazing ability that made him one of the best receivers in league history.
Kylian Mbappe proves to be a generational talent
Although soccer and pro football demand various skill sets, the ability to rush holds much value in these sports. Just like moving the ball downfield, the ability to rush toward the goalposts without being tackled is an art. Something that the 23-year-old French athlete showcased this year.
