The Kansas City Chiefs have taken the lead in the tie against the Cleveland Browns. And it’s none other than their star quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, who got them the touchdown.
With the opening drive of the game, the Chiefs got off to a blazing start. At 2nd and Goal and within inches of the end zone, Mahomes decided to rush the ball himself.

And Mahomes did so in style, by spinning past a diving Browns player for a touchdown. The following field goal attempt though was missed by the Kansas City Chiefs’ kicker.
Patrick Mahomes is showing no signs of slowing down
There was a lot of conversation regarding Patrick Mahomes being rusty for this tie vs the Browns in the Divisional Roud.
The quarterback and many other stars last featured in their Week 16 game vs the Atlanta Falcons. The win was enough to clinch them the AFC top seed.

Subsequently, head coach Andy Reid decided that it would be good to give his players some rest ahead of the postseason. So with a first round-bye, Mahomes and many other Chiefs players are taking to the pitch after 3 weeks. But the 2020 Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes is currently showing no signs of slowing down as the Kansas City Chiefs lead 13-3 at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Kansas City Chiefs are the reigning Super Bowl champions. Under head coach Andy Reid, the franchise has turned into a winning machine. With players like Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, and Travis Kelce, the Chiefs are on course to dominate their conference for the years to come.
