Tyreek Hill has been an ever-present figure in Andy Reid’s Kansas City Chiefs over the last couple of years. He has 5,391 receiving yards with 47 receiving touchdowns to his name, after having made his debut in 2016.

He was a pivotal figure for the Chiefs last season as they made their way to the Super Bowl LIV title. This was their first Lombardi win since 1970.

Along with QB Patrick Mahomes, TE Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill have been in fine form for KC this season as well. On 86 receptions, Hill has 1276 receiving yards with 15 passing TDs over the course of the 2020-21 NFL season.

He will be one of the first names on the Chiefs matchday roster when they take on the Tom Brady-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV on February 7th, 2020.

Ahead of the 2016 NFL Draft, not many expected former Oklahoma and West Alabama wideout Tyreek Hill to get drafted. His off-field issues made it difficult for interested parties to bring him in on a long-term deal.

They feared severe backlash from fans which could be detrimental to their progress. In addition to that, teams were not convinced to take a gamble on such a controversial figure. To top it all, he was not even invited to try out at the 2016 NFL combine.

Tyreek knew he had to make an impression on his College Pro Day. It’s safe to say he did well.

Tyreek Hill’s 40-yard dash time and speed caught the eye of many NFL scouts. The Georgia-born athlete clocked a 4.29 40-yard dash time, which was nothing short of remarkable.

He also reached a top speed of 19 miles per hour. This could have been the reason that prompted coach Andy Reid and the Chiefs to pick Hill in the 5th-round (165th overall).

Tyreek Hill and Co. are gunning to make it back-to-back Super Bowl wins with the Chiefs in 2021. They were dominant in the 38-24 win over the Josh Allen-led Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship game at the Arrowhead a couple of weeks ago. Hill has 280+ receiving yards in 2 playoff games this year.

The Buccaneers defense will face a tough time to thwart the free-flowing Chiefs offense led by the reigning Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes. Along with Kelce and Hill, Sammy Watkins has also made a return from injury in time for Super Bowl LV.
