Despite a lot of hype surrounding Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, Andy Reid’s Kansas City Chiefs put in a stellar display in the AFC Championship game a couple of weeks ago.

Patrick Mahomes was at the center of action yet again, throwing for 325 yards with 3 passing touchdowns at the Arrowhead Stadium.

In doing so, the Chiefs won their 2nd consecutive AFC title by a comfortable 38-24 margin. Now, they have to go up against arguably the greatest quarterback of all time, Tom Brady.

Andy Reid heaps praise on Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady

Kansas City Chiefs HC Andy Reid featured on a segment of The Herd with Colin Cowherd. The former Philadelphia Eagles coach was asked to comment on the impact that Tom Brady will have on Sunday’s Super Bowl.

Reid replied, “You’ve got to play, you got to play 4 quarters against him. And then it’s likewise on the other side, there’s just never enough points that you’re going to be able to score against that guy.

“I mean, you’ve got to keep going. And if you don’t, he’s already proven that he can do that. That’s what’s made him a great player over all these years.

“We’ve had a little success, but it’s amazing that this guy’s 43 years old, Colin, you know, he’s 43 years old, and he had a chance to play against them, or my team in Philadelphia did 16 years ago, and it doesn’t look any different than me. This is what he is,” Reid said on the show.

The Chiefs are definitely the favorites heading into this weekend’s season finale in Tampa Bay. They know they have the tools to cause the Bucs defense all sorts of problems.
