Devin White has enjoyed a breakthrough 2020 campaign. With 9.5 sacks and 140 tackles combined, White has been an integral part of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ defense, which has really kicked into life in the postseason.
Sacking Aaron Rodgers 5 times in the NFC Championship game, the Buccaneers limited the quarterback’s influence early on. Something that helped them build towards a 31-26 win over the Green Bay Packers.
Now playing in his first-ever Super Bowl, White is pumped as ever. And he credited a lot of his team’s success to the champion mentality instilled by their new quarterback, Tom Brady.

Devin White lauds Brady for winning over the locker room
During a segment of Bussin’ With The Boys, Devin White talked about how the team has grown thanks to the experience that Tom Brady brings to the locker room.
“Yeah, I think that’s the amazing part is just taking in that (experience) from him. And the thing is always getting guys around you to buy in. Because at the end of the day, 11 men have to take the field at one time,” he said.

White said that Brady has managed to get everyone on-board regarding one mission. Winning. No matter what it takes.
“So it’s not just Tom Brady. He’s got the guys around here from the O-linemen, running backs, receivers to buy in. Because the one thing you know, if you plan with a guy like Tom Brady, there’s only one expectation, and that’s winning,” White added.

Still only 22, White signaled his intentions of being a mainstay in the Buccaneers defense for the years to come. “The thing is, right now we’re young on defense especially from me to the secondary.
“The first seven, besides me, have kind of got a little bit of age on them. But I just got to get everybody to buy in that I’m still in my rookie contract and that I’m going to be in Tampa Bay for a couple more years.”
While halting the Packers on their tracks was no joke, the Buccaneers have another serious challenge lined up for them in the Super Bowl.
