Patrick Mahomes will be playing in his second consecutive Super Bowl this Sunday. Currently, the defending champion, Mahomes, is chasing his second Super Bowl ring.
Taking on Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Chiefs will have to put on a show if they are to beat the Bucs who are in top-notch form.
Recently signing a record-breaking 10-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs worth over $503 million, Mahomes will be around in Kansas for some time.

Investing in a plot of land for a house fit for a superstar of his stature, Mahomes talked about some impressive amenities he’ll have at his disposal.

While talking to NBC Sports’ Dan Patrick, Mahomes revealed some plans he had for his new establishment. “I’m going to have a half-football field so I can get some work in with some guys out there,” he said.
Being a fan of basketball, he said that the house will also have a full-size court. “I’ll have a basketball court — but don’t tell Brett Veach,” Mahomes said.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ General Manager prefers Mahomes not to play basketball to avoid a potential injury. And with the amount of money the Chiefs are investing in their star quarterback, it’s no wonder they want him to be a little cautious.

But Mahomes said that the basketball court won’t be for him. Rather, it’ll be for his kids. The quarterback and his fiancée Brittany Matthews are expecting their first child sometime soon.

“That’s not for me, that’s for the kids,” the Chiefs quarterback added. Mahomes said that the new house will also be equipped with golfing amenities. A sport he likes to part-take in when free. And one that Veach doesn’t seem to have a problem with.
“It’ll have a little golf stuff out there as well,” said Mahomes.

With the Chiefs locking in Mahomes for the long run, the quarterback might as well get comfy in his brand new home.
