Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are in line to defend their Super Bowl title as they dive head first into Sunday’s season finale in Florida.
The Chiefs are scheduled to take on the Tom Brady-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Raymond James Stadium on February 7th, 2020. This will be the first time that a home team will feature in a Super Bowl, and the Pirates’ fans couldn’t be more excited.
Despite suffering a concussion in the Divisional Round Playoff win over Cleveland Browns, Mahomes was cleared to play in the AFC Championship game a couple of weeks ago. The reigning Super Bowl MVP did not disappoint.

He threw for 325 yards with 3 passing TDs as the Chiefs knocked out Josh Allen and Co. from the NFL Playoffs. This was also KC’s second-straight AFC Championship game at the Arrowhead.

In a recent video released by Men’s Health Magazine on YouTube, APEC Founder and Patrick Mahomes‘ trainer Bobby Stroupe took us through the quarterback’s daily training drills and routines in the build-up to Super Bowl LV.

“Patrick’s training goals are simple, win the Super Bowl. So in order to do that priority number one is to be resilient, you got to stay healthy….
“The stronger an athlete is, the more they conduct power, and the more they can conduct speed. So it gives us greater opportunity to work those things without high risk,” Stroupe went on to say in the video above.
A Tom Brady vs Patrick Mahomes match-up is the stuff of legends. One player is in the infancy of his NFL career, while the other has won everything there is to win in this league.
