A potentially franchise-altering offseason
The Jaguars will be getting a potential franchise quarterback in Lawrence. With his skill set, the quarterback has the ability to walk into almost any offense and make it click.
Even apart from Lawrence, the Jags will have 5 more picks among the Top-100 in the 2021 NFL Draft. Including an extra 1st round pick courtesy of the Jalen Ramsey trade to the LA Rams.
Jacksonville has more to offer than any team hiring a new HC and or GM. Jaguars have the No. 1 overall pick, 11 total picks, over $100 million in salary-cap space and strong ownership. NFL execs and coaches find the Jacksonville situation highly appealing.

What’s more, the Jaguars also have the highest amount of cap space among any team heading into the offseason. All in all, the Jaguars have quietly gathered all the ingredients required to establish a potential team of world-beaters.

How Trevor Lawrence could influence the Jags 2nd first-round pick
There are potentially a lot of areas that the Jags need to improve upon. That statement is a bit of a no-brainer, given that the Jags managed to win only 1 game in the entirety of the 2020 season.
One interesting avenue that the Jags could venture into is that of the wide receiver. With their most prolific wide receiver, DJ Chark Jr, amassing only 706 yards over the course of the season, the Jags need to provide Lawrence with the tools to succeed.
And the 2021 draft class is a goldmine of promising and hungry wide receivers. With players like Ja’Maar Chase, Devonta Smith, and Jaylen Waddle in the mix, the Jags might just pull off a surprise and nab one of them.
Jaguars expansion dreams get a boost
Jaguars owner Shahid Khan has been one of the most aggressive proponents of expanding the NFL aboard. Especially in the United Kingdom.
The Jags have played regular-season games at Wembley in the past and were set to do so in 2020 as well, but the COVID pandemic put those ideas on hold.
But come 2021, the scenario is set to be different. The Jags could very well head to London again, this time with a crowd puller in Trevor Lawrence. A mouth-watering prospect for a league that is trying to spread its influence overseas.

Drafting Lawrence also means getting possible primetime slots. Something that the Jags haven’t managed to get in almost a decade. More primetime games means more viewership.
A draft pick that could change a franchise’s fortunes. Such picks are hard to come by in the NFL. How they utilize Trevor Lawrence as a brand and recruit players around him will be crucial for them.
