The Philadelphia Eagles are soon headed to play Zach Wilson and the New York Jets on Monday at MetLife Stadium. However, they are in a bit of a slump after losing 3 games and are now standing third in the AFC East. Now, they will be playing against a team that hasn’t lost a single game in the regular season. But the Eagles have an Achilles’ heel that the Jets can take advantage of.

The problem with the Eagles is their offense. Well,  Jason Kelce seems to think so. He went on a tirade recently, mid-game. Perhaps the Eagles lack somewhere, and it can do wonders for the Jets. However, there are substantial arguments as to why this game might not go in the Jets’ favor.

Well, the Eagles and Jets rivalry is more than what meets the eye. The Jets never were able to defeat the Eagles once in the 12 times they played. But there is some advice for the Jets that they might want to look into. Dan Graziano and Co. dive deep into the Jets vs. Eagles debate. According to former safety Ryan Clark, the Jets need to take care of 3 important things. The first one is to protect Zach Wilson because he doesn’t play well when he is pressured. “Zach Wilson is so much worse when he’s pressured than when he is not,” said the former safety.

Another thing Clark points out is how the Eagles are struggling with their back end. “They are banged up, they are beat up,” said Clark, describing the Eagles’ situation. According to him, the Eagles are playing makeshift games to manage their back end. He also pointed out the previous Jets game against the Denver Broncos. Apparently, Breece Hall had a lot to do when it came to creating openings for Zach Wilson. Per Clark, that is the second most important thing for the Jets to take care of, making plays that free up Wilson.

And lastly, the Jets need to put some pressure on Jalen Hurts and take advantage of the Eagles’ already struggling offense.

The façade of the Eagles

If the Eagles are so banged up, then how do they even manage to win the games? Well, a lot of credit goes to Jake Elliot, the kicker for the Eagles. The team won all five games, with Jake Elliot at the forefront, without being able to score the number of touchdowns they should have. This is what bothers Jason Kelce. He recently let his frustration out on his podcast, New Heights.

Now that the Jets know the Eagles’ weakness, they might have some tricks up their sleeve to dismember the Eagles’ offense. Or maybe Jason Kelce and Jalen Hurts are already on top of it. Well, if nothing works, the team can always resort to the tush-push. It is not a gimmick, and by now, every team in the NFL knows it.
