The Dallas Cowboys is the talk of the town right now. Even more than the San Francisco 49ers. This time, the walls come tearing down on Micah Parsons, even though George Kittle flashed his ‘F-Dallas’ t-shirt. Looks like ‘The Lion’ couldn’t defend his territory and there were some botched plays on his behalf. Secondly, Leighton Vander Esch and Parsons crashed into each other, putting Vander Esch out of the game.

Again, Skip Bayless has something on his mind, and he is not afraid to share his thoughts with the other Undisputed hosts. This time though, there is some logic in his talk because last time he causally came on screen and tossed the Prescott jersey in the bin but didn’t throw Parsons’ jersey. Guess he will do it as soon as he gets home after he says this.

Micah Parsons is not the king of the jungle anymore

A lot of times, Skip Bayless has overzealous suggestions for the Cowboys, but this time, it might not be that unwarranted. Bayless took a jab at Parsons for not being able to properly defend the team in the Sunday game in a tweet that was titled “You haven’t done enough against the Niners to go speak on your podcast. Go do it first before you speak it.”.

Bayless and Michael Irvin predicted that Micah Parsons will be the star of this season and that ‘he will graduate to a leadership position’. He then went on to compare Micah Parsons to Derrick Brooks, saying that Brooks was a tough, and quality player. Bayless wanted Micah Parsons to do the same for the Cowboys.

Bayless also thinks that Parsons is better than Prescott, the WR of the team, and anybody on defense, and deserves more attention. The host adds to this by holding Parsons responsible for not showing maturity and responsibility in this game. This could have been a chance for Micah Parsons to be a spokesperson and a driving force behind the team according to Bayless, which is true.

The game has quite a historic significance, especially for the Cowboys since they were knocked by the 49ers in the last two playoffs. ‘It was a statement game’ thinks Bayless. But he didn’t stop there and there was more slander to his name.

The Slander doesn’t stop

The host also added to the slander by saying that he (Parsons) says a lot of things on his podcast but doesn’t follow it through. This game could have been an opportunity for Parsons to etch his name amongst the stars because it was a ‘stars game’. Bayless says that Parsons wants to be a media star, but before that could happen, he failed to be a star on the field.

Parsons has played against the 49ers thrice and he has 0 sacks in those three games. Bayless points that he’s gone through 9 games with 5+ pressures per game, but in the game against the 49ers, the same number went down to 2. Also, Parsons had 5 solo tackles in 3 games, which per Bayless is not good enough.

But regardless of the slander, everything can’t be blamed on Parsons and the Cowboys need to revisit the tapes again and again to learn all they can about Shanahan and his offense. Not that they haven’t done that already.
