NFL supports flag football’s Olympic ambition

Many meetings have been taking place in New York. The NFL recently revealed its support for integrating flag football into the global sports arena in the world. It is particularly the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics that has been the talk of the town. The International Olympic Committee has recently greenlit flag football. Not just that, they also added four other sports to be a part of the upcoming games.

To this, the NFL executive Peter O’Reilly announced the league’s intention to collaborate with the NFL Players Association and USA Football. This decision is taken only to open a road to success for both current and former players. O?Reilly said, ?It is the pinnacle of sport globally.? The Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, also voiced his enthusiasm in his podcast.

He said, ?You know how amazing it would be to assemble a superteam to play in the Olympics.? O’Reilly revealed the league’s long-term vision as he put a lot of stress on the importance of nurturing the sport beyond just the 2028 event. Not just Hill, even the linebacker Micah Parsons commented on this.

Micah Parsons also wants to join the ?Super Team?

As Tyreek Hill said that it will be fun for everyone and the NFL to assemble a super team for the Olympics, his statement has already got supporters. The 2x Pro Bowler also said that he wants to join the team as well.

JPAFootball shared on their X account about it. They captioned, ?Players seem to have a real interest in joining, with Micah Parsons even saying he wants to form a ‘Super Team’?for it.? So, if there will be a team for the Olympics, the NFL already has players who are willing to join.
