Winners get all the attention, whether it’s positive or negative. In the same spirit, the Minnesota Vikings deserve their roses. Especially Jordan Addison, the rookie who is doing wonders for the Vikings alongside Justin Jefferson. The wide receiver had a career-high game against the 49ers with stellar touchdowns. Safe to say that a star was born on MNF and is here to shine bright.

Did you know that Addison is the second-best WR1 in the league, next to Tyreek Hill? His ability to run the plays and navigate different routes is what got him into the highlights after this game. The constant battle between Charvarius Ward and Jordan Addison was the key point of the game. So, what has suddenly caused all this commotion?

Well, he sure doesn’t play like one. The latest post from Next Gen Stats on X shows just how technical Addison’s job is and how good he is at his job. He had a career-high 123 receiving yards. But here is the catch, out of those 123 yards, he accumulated 102 yards on in-breaking routes. A play designed for the receiver to dash forward, make a 90-degree turn, and run parallel to the line of scrimmage.

Not only this, but Addison also leads the league with 4 touchdown receptions on breaking routes over 10 air yards this season. We love it when the researchers dive into such minute nuances about the player. His constant tussle with Charvarius Ward led to one of his most memorable touchdowns of the game.

Did you know that Jordan Addison is the only wide receiver after Tyreek Hill with the most receiving touchdowns? Addison has 6  received touchdowns to his name this season. Tyreek Hill has 7. Only one more to go!

The Vikings had a commendable game and Addison’s name is one for the history books for sure. Even though he is a rookie, these nuances of in-depth plays separate him from the other rookies and even established WRs.

Addison is a leader, a true Viking!

Well, he leads the team with the most receiving yards (123) and most receiving touchdowns (2). He was targeted 10 times, out of which he made 7 successful receptions. Did you know that Jordan Addison is just shy of chasing Randy Moss’ touchdown record? He is dominating the league right now, but he is not the only one.

Puka Nacua is a name that comes to mind when someone is also on a somewhat similar trajectory. Nacua has a real chance of overshadowing Jordan Addison, but for now, Addison leads Nacua with his 6 TDs. Jordan Addison proved his mettle in a crucial game, and that too under pressure circumstances. He is a rookie, but he doesn’t play like one, instead, he plays like he’s always been here in the FL, which is a good thing.
