The love for the sport of football has exceeded its boundaries even to the stadiums of Major League Baseball. This love was experienced firsthand by the Philadelphia Eagles‘ new cornerback Bradley Roby. The Eagles are currently one of the most popular teams in the league, running with a 4-0 record. The Eagles made it through the Super Bowl last season, and it’s looking like to have a similar outlook in the 2023 season as well. If nothing else, the team’s performance is well reciprocated by the energy of Philadelphia fans.

So much so that even the game of baseball has been conquered by the football fans. It’s evident that despite all the criticism about this ‘Tush Push’ play, there’s no doubt that the fans are loving the success of the Eagles this season too. Bradley Roby has become the messenger of the fans. Hopefully, he will deliver the message of the Eagles fans straight to the team’s locker room.

On Wednesday, the Philadelphia Phillies went against the Miami Marlins in the Wild Card game. They both twice against the team, first by the lead of 4-1 and then by 7-1. However, despite such a tremendous success against Miami, Philadelphians seemed to roar the chants of the Eagles and this took the Eagles CB by surprise since he joined the stands to cheer for the Phillies.

He was taken aback by the reference to Football at MLB, and this taught him a great lesson about the love of fans. He said, “They were doing Eagles chants during the game. I’m like ‘What? This is baseball. How you gonna talk about Eagles?’ But it just showed me how much they love their sports in this city.”

Well, this is quite normal, and not only fans but even the Phillies player has been spotted chanting the name of the Eagles in the past. So, the love extends to the players of different sports playing for the same city too.

The Eagles fans know no limits, the baseball match wasn’t enough for them. Just before the Super Bowl 2023, the NFL fans were found pushing towards an insane crossover, as they found the 2x MVP Bryce Harper at the WM Phoenix Open. That’s where the fans recorded him and started chanting the E-A-G-L-E-S, Eagles chant. However, Harper also didn’t hold back and joined them, in spite of enjoying a game of golf at the moment.

So, it was obvious that even the face of the Phillies was supporting the Philadelphia Eagles against the Kansas City Chiefs. This was phenomenal as it explains the reach of the NFL across the other realms as well. This love had Rody completely change his perspective on the team he’s playing, and the responsibility he holds as its newly recruited cornerback.
