The clock is still ticking. It is apparent that the fans have been awaiting the star running back Saquon Barkley’s return since the past games. The RB sprained his ankle in the 4th quarter of the New York Giants’ victory against the Arizona Cardinals in week 2. Since then, the Giants’ fans have been missing the Barkley magic in the clashes of Giants. The fans were excited when they heard about Barkley’s possible return in week 6 in their clash against the Miami Dolphins.

Meanwhile, as per reports, Barkley was healing and was in the ‘questionable’ column for the game against the Dolphins on Sunday. His probable status is an opportunity for the Giants to bag another much-needed win for the season. Thus, the status gave the audience some hope to see one of the top RBs in the NFL play in the game, yet their hopes did not last long.

To the dismay of fans, Saquon Barkley will not be participating in Sunday’s game at the Hard Rock stadium. The 1-3 Giants are now in dire need of an important win to survive the season. For this, the rising Giants need their star player Barkley to size up the offense. The Pro Bowl player made a savage comeback last season after he missed many games in the previous seasons. On the other hand, the Giants will also be missing out on some other important players.

Giants’ CB Aaron Robinson stays physically unable to perform due to his knee injury, along with ACL and MCL tear. Center John Michael Schmitz, OT Andrew Thomas, and OG Shane Lemieux are ruled out for week 5. Nonetheless, tight end Tommy Sweeny will be participating on Sunday. Yet, fans await only one favorite who can tackle the sinking season of the Giants.

What does Barkley say about his injury?

Barkley is a dynamic man, probably the only RB in the NFL who is even more loved than many QBs. Being someone who does not stay patient when injured. Due to this, the player is going through some internal conflicts right now. The RB is slowly but steadily bouncing back from his ankle sprain.

This time around, Barkley is being patient with his body, trying to help his ankle heal properly. “I’m just taking it one day at a time and just trying to improve each day,” said he, when addressing fans’ concerns. However, Barkley not participating in the clash against the Dolphins is an indicator of his injury progress being slow, or even negative. Fans don’t know about Saquon Barkley’s patience with his injury treatment, but it is certain that they would have to keep a lot of patience to see their favorite back in the game.
