Week 6 is unexpectedly very difficult for the San Francisco 49ers and their QB, Brock Purdy. They had been ranking at the top the whole season, but now, the match against the Cleveland Browns seems to be breaking down the team slowly.

Not only did the 49ers have 3 major players injured in the game, but they are also struggling to keep up their well-known high-level performances. Especially the quarterback, Purdy, who is in great distress right now.

The only person Brock Purdy works the best with is the RB, Christian McCaffrey- who has been ruled out of the match due to an oblique injury. Now his best teammate out of the game, the quarterback has not been able to keep up his exceptional performance.

According to Nick Wagoner, the ESPN reporter- The 49ers are facing their biggest adversity of the season. They’re trailing at the end of three, the offensive line is struggling to protect (and avoid penalties), and Brock Purdy is having his worst start as a pro. It’s only 13-10 Cleveland, but the Niners have a lot of work to do to get this one.

Fans criticized Brock Purdy for his performance

A fan commented, “This is the second time since Brock Purdy took over as the #49ers quarterback (and with the use of his right arm) that they have trailed in the fourth quarter. The other time was Week 17 at the Raiders. The 49ers won that game in overtime.” Others are very frustrated with the ongoing match and are wondering why the MVP Candidate Purdy is not able to elevate his team during this critical situation. Some have been throwing hate on the QB, asking why he currently looks like a 7th round pick.

However, Aaron Quinn stood up for Purdy and told the fans to stop judging the players week to week to prop up their own favorite player or narrative. Additionally, he also complimented the Browns’ incredible defense that beat Purdy this season. What do you think? Let us know in the comments!
