The Cowboys aim to be the next big thing this season. And the only thing standing between them and the goal are the current top teams, aka the Eagles and the 49ers. The two teams stand undefeated in week 5 of the season. While the 49ers’ secret probably lies in their O-line, the Eagles’ secret to success is no secret. It is the ‘tush-push’, aka the brotherly shove. As a result, Cowboys’ cornerback Trevon Diggs is upset as the season progresses.
Diggs has picked his side of the debate on the ‘tush push’. ‘Tush-Push’, also called the brotherly shove, is a sneaky QB trick, that helps the Eagles get those extra yards. The brotherly shove has faced a ton of criticism from the NFL authorities as well as some popular NFL players and it has been considered to be banned. What do other people have to say about the brotherly shove?
Although the Cowboys’ CB is against the QB sneak play, Cowboys’ LB Micah Parsons is not. Parsons even feels that there is no need for banning the move, as per sources. Even popular NFL analyst sibling duo Peyton Manning and Eli Manning showed no negative feedback on the brotherly shove, rather, they had a hearty laugh when talking about it.
