After a formidable four-game streak, the unstoppable San Francisco 49ers remain an enigma for NFL defenses. Can anyone halt their offensive rampage? Dallas Cowboys now face the daunting task of cracking the 49ers’ offensive code. Before that, injury updates have emerged from the 49ers’ camp post-Week 4.
Notably, offensive lineman Jon Feliciano is navigating the concussion protocol. Three other players are contending with injuries. However, they pale in severity compared to Feliciano’s condition.

Deebo Samuel, Elijah Mitchell, and Jauan Jennings, key players for the 49ers, sustained injuries in the previous week. Their availability for the upcoming match hangs in the balance, with decisions pending on a day-to-day basis.
According to a Niners Wire report, OL Feliciano suffered a head injury in Sunday’s game. He must clear a safety assessment before resuming play. Meanwhile, WR Deebo Samuel, nursing rib and knee injuries, persevered through Sunday’s match. Although, he did so with limited effectiveness due to his lingering knee ailment from Week 3.
Meanwhile, Coach Kyle Shanahan remains uncertain about Samuel’s complete recovery timeline. On the other hand, RB Elijah Mitchell, sidelined with a knee injury sustained in Week 4 practice, might make a return. It is not certain, though. Initially, the 49ers hinted at WR Jauan Jennings possibly participating on Sunday. But they later retracted it. Now, Coach Shanahan opts for a day-by-day approach to determine his readiness.

Looking ahead to the Week 5 clash, Coach Shanahan acknowledges the formidable challenge posed by the Cowboys’ formidable pass rush. He lauds the defensive prowess of Cowboys’ coordinator, Dan Quinn, and their swift-reacting defensive line. “I just saw their pass rush and how fast they play,” Shanahan said, per reports. “(Defensive coordinator) Dan Quinn is as good as anyone on D-line.”
And, the Cowboys’ pass rush, led by the All-Pro Micah Parsons, has been nothing short of dominant, racking up 95 total pressures and 14 sacks over four games. However, the Niners’ offensive line has shown marked improvement, allowing fewer sacks in recent matchups. Staying healthy and cohesive proves crucial in a team’s progress over the course of the season.
