The San Francisco 49ers recently locked horns with Minnesota Vikings. On this Monday Night Football, the Vikings claimed their 22-17 victory against the Niners at the U.S. Bank Stadium. Even though the Niners were one of the two undefeated teams before their last two matches, they’ve now lost two matches. But again, it’s the 49ers’ RB who gained all the spotlight with his record-breaking moment. The scores may not have turned out in the squad’s favor, but this athlete proved his worth while battling an injury.
The team with a 2-4 record has defeated the team with a 5-1 record dropping them to 5-2. In this game, the team’s running back Christian McCaffrey was battling with an injury. Regardless, he played and did something record-breaking. His performance has definitely caused a stir on the internet.

The 2x Pro Bowl has been known for his stunning displays on the field. Even though his team lost on Monday night, he wasn’t ready to give up. CMC had to do something right as he does in every match. So this time, the RB set an NFL record and passed two Hall of Famers. His stunning display was not overlooked as he very well knows how to get everyone’s attention through his play.
#49ers RB Christian McCaffrey gets the Niners on the board with his 3-yard touchdown run.
That is 16 straight games with a touchdown (including playoffs) for McCaffrey, which now stands alone as the second-longest such streak in NFL history.
Only Lenny Moore at 17 has more.

Nick Wagoner reported on his X account about CMC’s NFL record. He has gone 16 straight games and scored a touchdown in every game, including the playoffs. His streak now has earned the second place in the NFL for such a streak in NFL history. The only player standing ahead of him is the former NFL player Lenny Moore, who has a streak of 17 games with a touchdown.
McCaffrey has surpassed HOFers like O.J. Simpson, and John Riggins after he scored his 3-yard touchdown in his Monday night game. His next game will decide if he ties the record with Lenny Moore or if his streak is broken. As usual, King James always stays up to date with the NFL. He also commented on the CB’s record.
LeBron James is in awe of CMC!
There was no context related to King James’ comments but out of the blue, he commented on his X account about McCaffrey’s performance. He openly applauded CMC, perhaps, hoping that he would be as durable as McCaffrey is. He wrote a 3-word message for CMC.

CMC!!! That’s All
— LeBron James (@KingJames) October 24, 2023
He said, “CMC!!! That’s All.” People went crazy when he commented on the RB’s performance. Now, McCaffrey is questionable to play in his next matchup but he doesn’t look like a player who would stay out for no reason. Moreover, the 16 straight games with at least a touchdown is his second in NFL history. James would seemingly connect with Caffrey since the NBA star himself barely escaped with a season-ending foot injury. But again, McCaffrey’s recent performance is a reminder that he is nowhere close to stopping.
