By now, everyone knows that the Cowboys lost to the 49ers and got humiliated on and off the field. Questions surround each and every player of the franchise. From fans suggesting changes to Jerry Jones to Dak Prescott’s everlasting slander, the Dallas Cowboys have seen it all. Micah Parsons caught the smoke after he made comments on the 49ers post-game in his podcast. Now, people are giving CeeDee Lamb a side-eye for his bland performance.

Skip Bayless and the Undisputed Co. dive deeper into the CeeDee Lamb saga and compare him to tier 2 players in the league. Their dismissal of the Cowboys WR might or might not be warranted. Partly because he didn’t get a chance to make a lot of plays in the Sunday game. So, what’s the deal with CeeDee Lamb?

CeeDee Lamb has gone quiet

A recent video from JPA Football has Lamb in focus, the gist of which is, despite CeeDee Lamb being an offensive player, he had less than 55 yards in the last 3 games combined. He had 4 receipts and 5 targets in the game against the 49ers, but that’s all. Now, Richard Sherman couldn’t stay away from putting Lamb where he (Sherman) thinks he (Lamb) belongs. That is, with the WR2s. Skip Bayless asks the much-needed question, “Is CeeDee Lamb overrated?”

Bayless and Richard Sherman had a disagreement over the fact that CeeDee Lamb is a tier 1 WR, and Sherman didn’t take a lot of time to throw shade at the Cowboys WR1. He said that Lamb isn’t “bonafide” and doesn’t belong with the likes of Tyreek Hill, AJ Brown, Davante Adams, or Stefon Diggs. Instead, Sherman thinks that Lamb belongs with the likes of Jaylen Waddle, Tee Higgins, Tyler Lockett, or even Brandon Aiyuk.

Sherman then points out the struggling Cowboys’ offense and reminds people about the absence of Amari Cooper, who was traded to the Cleveland Browns in 2022. Per him, the team could do a lot better if Cooper was there to assist Prescott and the offense.

One thing is for sure, Prescott needs some help because the Cowboys allowed 4 sacks and Prescott had a couple of incomplete passes and some turnovers as well. So much so that everything seems like his fault to the fans.

Dak Prescott is here to stay

Skip Bayless might be the most relentless Cowboys fan, but after the game, he threw his Prescott jersey in the trash and told Jerry Jones to give Trey Lance a shot. On top of that, Shannon Sharpe recently pointed out the Prescott’s incentivized contract and went on a rant. While Jerry Jones is getting all the free advice that he can, the Cowboys’ owner has clarity in his mind, and he stands with Prescott in this tough time.

On the contrary, he doubled down on Dak Prescott and said that he (Prescott) is the one to take the Cowboys to the Super Bowl. Dak Prescott must feel a little bit better after this, considering all the hate that he and the Cowboys are getting lately. Prescott’s future with the Cowboys is permanent as of now.

However, coming back to CeeDee Lamb and the Dallas offense, the team must do something to get more offense on the roster, maybe something that fits Prescott’s playing style. Though the Cowboys are known for their stellar defense, Micah Parsons failed to channel his inner “Lion” as well. Hopefully, they get back on track soon.
