It has become apparent now that the Philadelphia Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers are the elite teams of the NFL. Both have their antics, and both are in the news for some reason or the other. However, this is about the Eagles. The Eagles recently played the Rams and were triumphant. But at some point in the game, Jason Kelce got visibly upset for everyone to see. But the Eagles won right? So, what was this frustration about?

A recent update gave the fanbase a clearer picture of what was going on in Jason Kelce’s head mid-game. He came forth to clarify and give more perspective on his reasons for being upset. Maybe because he loves his team too much and avoided any speculation.

Despite the glorious win, the Eagles allowed a lot of sacks, and a lot of their points came from field goals. And this is what bothered Jason Kelce. The fact that the Eagles struggled to get into the opposition red zone is what was on Jason Kelce’s mind. Briefly in the game, the fans could see him visibly upset and arguing with the people on the sideline. Yes, it was because of the offense. This turned even more bothersome especially when the team had put their sweat and blood for the win.

“We are putting in a lot of time and effort into fixing the red zone issues” mentions Kelce in the audio snippet.

He admitted that there are no issues with the offense apart from their ability to get into the red zone. Kelce believes that the team has had a lot of good drives, but they are still not able to get inside the offensive lines. They had to resort to the classic ‘tush-push’, putting Jalen Hurts in jeopardy once again. Also, Kelce adds to this by mentioning that the team is making the same mistakes that hinder their plays.

However, Jake Elliott came in clutch and gave his fair share of kicks to the Rams. Well, he finally gets his flowers from Jason Kelce.

Is the outrage justified?

A special thanks would go to Jake Elliot for making so many kicks. Jason Kelce loves the fact that Elliot has done so much and gives the credit where it’s due. But he’s a stickler when it comes to the team’s offensive ability to go and get a touchdown. “It’s not good when your kicker is kicking the ball that many times, we need to get in the end zone” asserted Kelce.

A part of this outrage stems from Kelce’s love for the team and the relationship he has with Jalen Hurts and Co. This is the reason why he feels comfortable to truly express his disapproval of whatever is going on. Relating to his frustration may be oxymoronic because we can see why we are frustrated but at the same time, we are not there with him on the field.
