Nacua was drafted by the Rams in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, with the 177th overall pick. But that hasn’t stopped the fans from getting a hold of his jersey. The no. 17 jersey for the Rams team is completely sold out. A problem for any franchise but it’s a good problem to have, especially if it’s based on just 4 games.

The 22-year-old’s jersey number 17 has been flying off the shelves at the NFL store, as fans want to show their support for the rising star. Nacua has also earned the respect and trust of his teammates and coaches, who praise his work ethic, talent, and attitude. Rams QB Matthew Stafford has developed a strong chemistry with Nacua, targeting him 36 times in four games. This support and talent have led him to break records.

Nacua made an immediate impact in his debut game against the Seattle Seahawks. He followed that up with a historic performance against the San Francisco 49ers. The WR caught 15 passes for 147 yards, setting a new NFL record for most receptions in a single game by a rookie. The youngster also became the first player to record more than 10 catches and more than 100 yards in each of his first two NFL games. Former BYU wide receiver would love to continue this form and bring some stability to the team.

Steadiness is required to continue winning

Nacua’s latest heroics came in Week 4 against the Indianapolis Colts, where he caught nine passes for 163 yards and scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime. But the game also ended with QB Stafford’s hip injury and might not participate in the next week’s game.
