The Green Bay Packers fans can really rejoice after a difficult period. They have been adjusting to the absence of a lot of their players. Aaron Jones and Christian Watson have been missing practice for a while now. The Packers’ injury list is extensive, but all hope is not lost. HC Matt LaFleur recently shed some insight about the Packers’ injury situation.
Things are looking up for the Packers as they go against the much stronger Detroit Lions in the next game. About 10 Packers players did not participate in the practice in any capacity. However, according to the new injury reports, we might get some important pieces back on the field. The Lions are managing their injuries a lot better, but will they be able to take the next game?

Aaron Jones and the healing pack
Finally, there is some good news about the linebacker Aaron Jones and receiver Christian Watson. They were both suffering from hamstring injuries. Both players participated in the practice session in limited capacity among some other injured players. Also, the right tackle Zach Tom (knee injury), CB Jaire Alexander (back), and Carrington Valentine (biceps) went from not participating at all to limited participation.
The players who have not shown any improvements are the left tackle David Bakhtiari and the left guard Elgton Jenkins. They are both going through knee injuries and have not participated in the practice session. The linebacker De’Vondre Campbell (ankle) and safety Zayne Anderson also remain on the list of non-participants as of now.

The Packers receiver, Romeo Doubs remains confident about Aaron Jones’ return to the game against the Lions. ‘We’ll have 33 back,” said the receiver in a recent interview. Though most of the Packers’ lot is ailing, they are not short of any pre-planning. They are planning to replace David Bakhtiari and Zach Tom with Rasheed Walker and Yosh Nijman, respectively.
Compared to this list of injured players, the Lions are still better off. However, Matt LaFleur seems optimistic about the next game, but won’t reveal much ahead of time.
