A pivotal clash is awaiting the Niners on Sunday. The Browns, disguised as the underdogs, are preparing their home ground for putting up a fight that the 49ers will remember. The 2-2 Browns are waiting to grab the opportunity to destroy the untainted reputation of the 49ers this season. Or at least their defense coordinator Jim Schwartz is. Myles Garret and his defense linemen are still considered one of the top defenses in the league, something the 49ers offensive tackle Trent Williams is not very happy about.
The San Francisco 49ers have been working on their flaws for years, something that every single Niner has worked for. Now, they are one of the most perfect teams with their offenses and defenses in place. However, their OT Trent Williams, when gauging their situation against the Browns, said something that the 49ers team is considering seriously ahead of their clash.

Williams is not letting his guard down ahead of their Sunday clash, the reason being Jim Schwartz, the defensive coordinator of the Browns. Schwartz was a close ally of Jim Washburn, aka the father of Wide 9. To elaborate, wide 9 is a defensive alignment, first created by Washburn nearly 2 decades ago. Although the 49ers defensive coach Kris Kocurek maintains fairly good relations with Washburn, Schwartz is better acquainted with Wide 9, as per Williams. “Obviously, they’re the No. 1 defense in the league. So at this time, nobody really compares. We’ve got a match made for us,” said tackle Williams.
The head coach, Shanahan, has a fair idea of Kocurek’s defensive formation from back in the day when he played against him. He is also well aware of Kocurek’s work tenure with Washburn when he was associated with Detroit Lions. Hence, the head coach is anticipating the clash more than the defensive linemen and the OT himself.

Browns’ defense preparation ahead of the clash
The Niners are getting more and more thrilled as they near the game day. As they have poured in words of praise for the defensive end of the Browns’, Myles Garrett. Garrett has successfully accomplished the target of Wide 9 formation, getting to the QB, 5.5 times in just 4 games. The real thrill lies right here. The Niners QBs Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey are known to be some of the best in the league.
