As the New York Giants were losing constantly, they were desperate to defeat the Seattle Seahawks. On this Monday Night Football, the two teams went against each other and the results weren’t good news for the Giants as they lost 24-3. The Giants had to go home with a shameful defeat, again, dropping them to 1-3.
As the losing team was leaving the field to go to the locker room, fans showered them with booing at the MetLife Stadium. The team’s right tackle, Evan Neal lost control and did something which was not supported even by his teammates. He later apologized publicly for his actions. His apology has been circulating online creating a spur on the internet.

Neal apologised saying he regretted his actions
It’s not a surprise that fans boo the team who loses but the teams never react. However, this might be one of the few incidents where the team members reacted to it. As the Giants were going to the locker room, Neal didn’t hesitate to raise his arm and make sarcastic gestures toward the fans. Initially, the player said that he did not flip off fans.

But after being asked, Neal said, “They were booing us, so I said, boo louder!” As the right tackle has been getting a lot of hate online due to his actions, he recently took to his X account to apologize publicly. He accepted that he was wrong for lashing out at fans who were just as passionate and frustrated as he was. The tackle enunciated he had no right to make fun of anyone’s job and he deeply regrets what he said on the field.
He said, “We are working day in and day out to grow as a team and this was an unnecessary distraction. I apologize.” It was obvious that people were going to react to this, but the American broadcaster Michel Kay notably shared his unfiltered thoughts about the incident.

Michael Kay was brutally honest
When it came to sharing his opinions, the TV star Michael Kay did not hold back. Kay said, “I’d cut his a*s, how dare you?!” He added that the player had no right to talk about anyone’s job as the fans are the ones who pay the player’s salaries.
Moreover, he said, “Who the hell are you to talk to fans like that? You piece of g*rbage!” He also added that he doesn’t want to hear his apology and rather wants him out of the game. The host of the New York Yankees did not take it lightly when the player’s reaction was not valid.
