The New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr is out of the game against the Green Bay Packers, following a 3rd quarter shoulder injury. The Packer’s outside linebacker, Rashan Gary, crashed into Carr, causing Carr to land roughly on his right shoulder. He took quite a bit of time to get up, indicating there was a problem. Then he immediately went to the injury tent and later had an X-ray at the locker room.
Carr was replaced by backup QB Jameis Winston, who gets his first game of the season. But it probably doesn’t affect the Saints’ performance, at least on the defensive note. After a perfect start to the season, the Packers are on their way to making it 18-17 as Carr did his job before he went out.

The Packers may have let their frustration out on Carr, who was proving to be too much to handle. Sadly, that doesn’t solve their problems as the Saints had a solid 17-3 lead over the Packers in the 4th quarter. The Packers came looking to take away something from the game after the Falcons disappointment. But looks like Zach Wilson and co. are setting up for another stinker in front of the home crowd. The Packers have turned the tables and are now ahead of their opponents!
