Last night, the NY Jets‘ defense shone brightly, resembling how Dak Prescott has faced tough treatment from other teams. The Jets silenced Jalen Hurts and the Eagles, captivating NFL fans worldwide with their heroic performance. So, why is everyone buzzing about the Jets?

The reason is simple: the Jets showcased their defensive might in a remarkable 20-14 victory against the Eagles on a Sunday evening at MetLife Stadium, leaving NFL fans in sheer amazement. When a team outperforms an undefeated side, it naturally becomes the talk of the town in media reports.

At the age of 30, Prescott’s offensive struggles persist, but the faith in the team remains unwavering, thanks to the defense that’s carrying the weight of the season. In a brutal 42-10 loss to the 49ers on “Sunday Night Football,” QB Dak Prescott reportedly endured one of his worst NFL games, managing only a 58.3% pass completion rate.

Following the Week 5 Cowboys game, the Jets secured their second straight win, boasting a 3-3 record before the bye week and snapping the Eagles’ 5-1 streak in a league where no team remains undefeated. Notably, sports host Emmanuel Acho took to Twitter, stating, “Jalen Hurts is gonna get that Dak Prescott treatment tomorrow, huh??”

A fan named Juan Duarte replied to Acho’s tweet, saying, “I think the biggest takeaway is the Jets defense is legit.” However, rightly so, Jalen Hurts faced strong criticism from Shannon Sharpe, who expressed his profound dissatisfaction.

This came about because, for the first time ever, the Jets defeated the Eagles, and Jalen Hurts had the worst game of his career, joining Jimmy Garoppolo and Mac Jones as the only QBs in the NFL to have thrown 7+ interceptions in the first six weeks of the season.

So, let’s see it crystal clear: who’s having the better season, Hurts or Prescott, based on water clear stats?

While some may argue that Dak is performing better than Jalen, the numbers suggest the same. Prescott boasts a higher QBR (64.1 vs. 59.8), fewer interceptions (4 vs. 7), and a similar number of touchdowns (5 vs. 7), despite fewer passing yards (1,061 vs. 1,542).
