No one thought that the Philadelphia Eagles would be losing to the New York Jets, not even by a long shot. Zach Wilson finally received his flowers after getting the Dak Prescott treatment for a long time. This came after Jason Kelce expressed his concerns surrounding the Eagles? offense and their inability to move in the end zone. It seems that the Eagles have taken his concerns into consideration and are making some changes to their O-line, and the seven-time pro bowler is a big part of it.

A tweet from Ian Rapoport gives more information about the changes that the Philly team made ahead of the Miami Dolphins game. The Dolphins are in their peak condition and to beat them, Jalen Hurts and Co. must bring out their A-game. This new reinforcement points toward the same.

The tweet from Rapoport is simple but brings new hope to the Eagles fans. The Philly team has promoted Julio Jones as a wide receiver for the upcoming game against the Dolphins. Till now, he didn?t play any of the games in the 2023 regular season after completing his last season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jones is expected to play the Sunday game as the Eagles muster every offensive resource to go against the Dolphins.

The veteran, six-time Pro Bowler started his career back in 2011 with the Atlanta Falcons and has played 155 games over 12 seasons. Jones has amassed over 13,000 receiving yards and 63 touchdowns throughout his career and is now set to play with the Eagles starting this Sunday. The Eagles are doing a much-needed revamp to their offense as they gear up against one of the fastest teams in the NFL.

Another thing is that DeVonta Smith, the WR2 is going through a hamstring injury and is not supposed to play this Sunday and Julio Jones is taking his spot, being promoted from WR4 to WR2. This might come as a positive update, given his experience and skills, for Hurts-led Eagles.

The Sunday game will be played in the Lincoln Financial Field as the 1 team in the NFC East goes against the 1 team in the AFC East. Recovering from a loss, the Eagles might pull off a Dallas Cowboys against Mike McDaniel?s fast offense. But the Dolphins also have some of their squad on IR, although it?s not that big of a deal as their main weapons, Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle will still be making it to Lincoln Field. It remains to be seen if the Eagles switch up their offense noticeably this time.

In the past, the Eagles have heavily relied on Jake Elliott, the kicker, to win the games. Although the Eagles have put forth a strong front, the fact that the team is not able to get into the enemy lines and score a touchdown bothered Jason Kelce. Maybe his upset has given the Eagles a new perspective in the next game as their next opponent is one of the most improved teams in the NFL.
