This is not the first time when people have been divided into two for having different opinions. The ‘Tush Push’ has certainly gained popularity amidst the controversy of it getting banned. It is a kind of strategy to play and garner some more yards which might not feel genuine for all.
Whenever the Philadelphia Eagles seem to need a yard, they quickly hold hands with the “Tush Push”. With the help of center Jason Kelce and other 2-3 players, the QB Jalen Hurts lines up under center and takes the snap, getting a big push from behind. This trick seems to have worked for the Eagles that’s why they do it often. Meanwhile, everyone has openly stated to ban this, and the former NFL player JJ Watt has extended his support towards it. Many are surprised by his statements.

Amidst the chaos, the 5x First-team All-Pro has also shared his views regarding the “Tush Push”. In the NFL, many strategies and plays have been banned before for multiple different reasons. ‘Tush Push’ seems to check all those reasons and is talked about online extensively. Meanwhile, recently retired NFL player, Watt has shown his support towards the move.
Lots of talk about the “tush push”.
(ridiculous name by the way)Unpopular opinion:
If they weren’t allowed to push from behind, the Eagles would still be just as successful at QB sneaks.Yes it helps, but the push isn’t the reason it’s successful. The OLine and Jalen are.

The former NFL player took to his X (Formerly Twitter) account to post about it. The player believes that the move has nothing to do with the team’s success and the Eagles would be in the same position as they are with or without “Tush Push”. He captioned his post saying that there has been a lot of talking about the Eagles’ move. Along with this, he also mentioned that it is a ridiculous name for the move.
Later, the player captioned, “If they weren’t allowed to push from behind, the Eagles would still be just as successful as QB Sneaks.” Furthermore, he added that it does help the team, but that is not the sole reason for the Eagles’ success this season. Many other players, including the QB Jalen Hurts, joined the conversation.
