The Saints once again failed to make a comeback. The 3-4 Saints lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night. While many factors were responsible for this loss, Derek Carr was the most questioned by fans after the second consecutive loss of the Saints. The 5-2 Jaguars won the game at the Bayou Stadium, even with their flaws, making them the leader of the NFC South division.
The Saints’ loss was an ugly one, and so was the Jaguars’ win. But a win is a win, and a loss is a loss. To put it mildly, the New Orleans QB’s performance did not impress the viewers.

Even though the Saints came into Week 7 with a lot of confidence about making a comeback, there was no action till late in the game. It was natural for the Jaguars to jump at the opportunity. Yet, one player caught the eyes of the viewers the most, not in a good way. Fans pointed out a number of times when he passed the ball without checking. So much so that a fan even pointed out Carr’s position, which was nowhere near the Jaguars’ defender when he scored a TD.

Moreover, Derek Carr was accused of not playing properly in the third quarter and throughout the game. Following this, there have been rumors about the Saints QB being replaced by Jameis Winston. Slanting away from the authorities, the fans have an opinion of their own, and it is not always in agreement with the officials.
Fans across Twitter on Derek Carr
As the saying goes, a coin has two sides. Similarly, some fans completely agree with the QBs’ performance being poor. Most fans agree that the QB had lost hope and was not even trying toward the end of the third quarter.
Watch Derek Carr at the end of this play. He's nowhere near the run back defender and basically gives up after he throws the pick into coverage.
Terrible leadership. https://t.co/aNV5YWt32g

Whereas some disagree, saying that it was others’ fault as well. For this, the fan believed that TE Foster Moreau must have watched the ball.
It is so lazy for all of you people to blame Derek Carr when he has been really good when the line blocks for him. Put together 2 really good drives. Disgusting. Moreau has to catch that ball. Straight up.

On the other hand, the people who agreed to the fact that he performed poorly and even pitched to the head coach to replace him.
Carr was frustrated, insecure and imprecise. This is his worst performance so far. Now I see that not even a new team and a new HC can help him overcome his mediocrity. That's what he transmits to this team. Cheers from Mexico.

Some even went to the extent of saying that the entire team, especially Carr and Chris Olave, aren’t good enough.
Derek carr isn’t good. Chris olave isn’t good. It’s time the world accepted these things, even though it would’ve been really pretty to think so.

While the others thought that he had been falsely blamed for someone else’s fault.
This is one of those … “is it the WR fault for letting come out or the QB for putting him in that spot” situations
