Seattle Seahawks are on Cloud 9 right now. Currently, lead 3-1 in their favor, and it looks like there is no stopping them, especially after that last game against the NY Giants. So far, they have only lost to the LA Rams which left HC Pete Carroll with a chip on his shoulder, and he can’t get rid of it for now. Since their loss to the Rams, the Seahawks haven’t really looked back and developed a rigid mentality of winning.
All in all, the team is on the right trajectory, considering how Geno Smith was recently compared to Kirk Cousins. Hopefully, he keeps this momentum in the next game as well. But coming back to Coach Carroll, he still isn’t over the past. Seattle Seahawks reporter Brady Henderson gave more insight into the matter.

Henderson recently tweeted a statement from the Seattle football HC. The gist of the matter is that Pete Carroll still hasn’t gotten over the week 1 loss against the LA Rams. “I haven’t forgiven myself for that,” admitted the coach to the ESPN correspondent. Though they won the game against the Giants, the team still had a plethora of injured players on the roster. But at least some good came out of all this doubt. The team, since the loss, has put up impressive numbers.
Pete Carroll was still kicking himself over the second half of the Week 1 loss to the Rams when asked for his view of the Seahawks at 3-1. "I haven't forgiven myself for that," he said. But what Carroll is most proud of so far is how they've finished …https://t.co/5UOv4sYefs

Over the last few games, the team has been placed first in terms of scoring in the second half/OT. They averaged 21.7 points every time after the start of the second quarter. In addition to this, the team also ranks second in point differential after halftime, with 11.3 points. All this shows is that as the clock winds down, the Seahawks just push themselves even harder. “That finishing mentality is really, really valuable to us, and we’re going to keep building on it.” mentioned the HC.
They need this frame of mind going forward since they will be playing Joe Burrow and the Bengals in their home arena soon. This is special for Pete Carroll because this is the team that beat the Rams before ironically losing to the Titans.
The confusion around the Bengals
Joe Burrow sustained a calf injury a few weeks ago, although he played against the Rams and the Bengals won. Maybe the injury caught up to Burrow in the game after that. The Bengals are currently trailing behind 1-3 and it’s not looking good for them. Joe Burrow hasn’t been able to perform this season at all, despite all the trust people had in him, and it is obviously pressuring him.

Although he admitted that his injury is not a problem anymore, it is safe to say that Burrow has a lot on his plate right now, as the Bengals are going against the Cardinals very soon. Maybe they will be able to redeem their tainted record in the next game. There are speculations that the Bengals might not make it to the Playoffs this year. However, nothing is set in stone.

Questions surround the $275 million star QB, but the next game may as well be a canon event in his life and Pete Carroll and the Seahawks might end up wounded at the hands of the tiger.
