Injuries are like second nature to the Green Bay Packers now. Recently there had been news about Aaron Jones and Christian Watson’s injury, which really gave hope to a lot of fans, especially Jordan Love. Even more news comes in now regarding the injuries and this time, things really don’t look good for David Bakhtiari. After the loss to the Detroit Lions, the Packers must be looking to seriously revamp the team.
Bakhtiari has been struggling with a knee injury for the past 3 years, but this season it has really affected him. So, the Packers took some measures to make things right. Even though the Detroit Lions were favored, Jordan Love’s confidence in the Packers raised expectations. But coming back to the point, things are not looking good for David Bakhtiari.

The Packers announced an injury update and Bakhtiari’s return remains questionable for at least the next three games. Also, he has missed the past three games with the Packers as well, along with the game against the Lions. He is expected to return in the first week of November, but these are just predictions, and it really depends on the extent of his injury. The coach Matt LaFleur is not really addressing deeper questions regarding the OT and is keeping things to himself.
Bakhtiari got injured in the knee during the 2021 season and it has been bothering him since then. Due to the surgery, he could only play a limited number of games and was advised to wait till his knee got better. This year, he has only played with the Packers in a single game against the Chicago team, but no more games after that. Bakhtiari hasn’t been participating in the practice either.
The OT wants to get out there
Things haven’t been kind to Bakhtiari recently for obvious reasons. He has tried all the possible solutions to make a return to the field, but his body won’t allow him. On top of that, risking playing this game could make things even worse for Bakhtiari. To make things right again, the Packers have signed Kristian Welch to their practice roster and promoted the CB’s Corey Ballentine and Kiondre Thomas to the active game-day roster.

Bakhtiari mentioned that he is willing to put this injury behind him but it is impossible to do because there are really no other alternatives but to wait it out. In addition to this, the Packers are also playing without Elgton Jenkins because of a ligament tear that he faced in the game against the Atlanta Falcons.
