Dallas Cowboys are aiming for nothing but the playoffs. With their commendable performance as a team this season, the Cowboys are at 3-2 in Week 6. A former NFL personality, Shannon Sharpe, has presented his views on the team, particularly its offense and QB. His thoughts were not the most positive, to put it nicely.

Although the Cowboys performed well at the beginning of the season, the team has lost two of their last three games. The losses were humbling for the team, more importantly for the QB Dak Prescott.

The Cowboys are gearing up for their upcoming clash against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night. Amidst this, the Hall of Famer has severe complaints against the Cowboys’ offense and QB Prescott.“We look at him in the big game. When we need him the most, he comes up the smallest.” This isn’t the first time Sharpe has expressed his views. “We have played in a historically great defense,” said Sharpe, elaborating on how Cowboys have emerged victorious after hitting rock bottom in the past. Looking at the Cowboys’ poor offense now, Sharpe is simply disappointed.

“Dak is the quarterback. He is expected to deliver, and he has not in the big moments.” Looking at the Cowboys’ recent humiliating 42-10 loss against the SF 49ers on Sunday night, many fans might agree with Sharpe. Per Sharpe, if the Cowboys are paying Prescott as an elite QB, he should take one of the wealthiest teams in the NFL to the Super Bowl. Sharpe mentioned that the teams that the Cowboys lost to, the 49ers and Arizona Cardinals, each had scored more than 20 points. Sharpe’s opinions are a big taunt to Prescott, yet he has the faith of the person who matters the most for the team.

Jerry Jones has faith in QB Dak Prescott

The owner of the team begs to differ from Sharpe. When asked about his take on QB Prescott’s performance, he said, “Let me be real clear: Dak’s capable of taking this team where we wanna go.” Jerry Jones firmly believes Prescott, as a QB, can take the Cowboys to the Super Bowl.

Now, the job is upon Dak Prescott as to who he wants to prove correct. On the one hand, he has the team owner who believes in him, whereas on the other hand, a Hall of Famer who doesn’t. If Prescott wants the opinions to turn out in his favor, he would have to put up a formidable performance against the Chargers.
