On Sunday Night Football, the Green Bay Packers had a match against the Atlanta Falcons. The Packers were really close to claiming their victory but it flew right to the opposing triotteam. The Falcons won 25-24 inside the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the Week 2 matchup.

The upcoming match is this Sunday Night Football which is against the New Orleans Saints. The match will be happening in the Packers’ old stadium, Lambeau Field. What happens when a team is given their old stadium? They get excited. A video has been circulating online which shows the reaction of the players towards getting their old stadium.

In and around the NFL, nobody has a stadium this old and historic. However, this only makes the players even more excited as well as nostalgic at the same time. The field was built in 1957 and since then, no other stadium has been able to defeat it in the race of hosting the most NFL seasons for a team. The stadium has a special place in the hearts of all Packers.

Just before the match, the Packers released a video showing what the players are most excited about for tonight. The video starts with the linebacker Preston Smith saying, “Most excited about the fans man.” The player also had 2 other teammates supporting this. Next in line was wide receiver Christian Watson joking about cheese hats.

Later, it was Samori Toure who said that he was most excited about being back on Lambeau Field. Many players mentioned that they’re most excited about meeting the fans on the field including RB Emanuel Wilson, DE Devonte Wyatt, and many others. Wyatt also said to the fans to be loud. 5 of the players said they’re most excited about the Field. Even though the Packers lost their previous match they had pretty solid good news in their first match. So much so that even Aaron Rodgers congratulated the team.

The rivalry between the Chicago Bears and the Packers has been a road to a never-ending rivalry. Even though the quarterback Aaron Rodgers is not a part of the rivalry now, as he plays for the New York Jets, he still made sure to keep an eye on the winning team.

After the Packers won the match, Rodgers texted the quarterback Jordan Love to congratulate him. He congratulated the player on keeping the ownership over the Bears strong. When Rodgers was featured on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’, he announced that he sent a text to Love after the match.
