The Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones didn’t play in the second week. The player had a hamstring injury due to which he couldn’t participate in the match against the Falcons. The Pro Bowl has been an asset to the team in terms of an offensive weapon. At the same time, the wide receiver Christian Watson also missed the initial matches.
If Watson joins the match tonight, it will further strengthen the team’s offense. Now, the question arises, will both of these players be playing tonight? The quarterback of the team, Jordan Love had an answer to that after he was recently praised by Aaron Rodgers.

With the match being so close, the Packers are desperate to have their stunning performers back on-field as quickly as they can. This will not only cement their defense but also increase their chances of winning for the second time this season. Recently in an interview, the Second-team All-MWC shed some light on the status of the two players.
The QB said that he’s optimistic about the players coming back to join them on Sunday Night Football. Additionally, he also said that the offense will look in a much better position if the players are playing tonight. The player further added that if not this week, they’ll definitely be back in the coming week.
The RB Jones was a major playmaker in the first week of the NFL. His absence was clearly impactful for the team. Love also said that having him playing with them feels much better on the offensive side. The player said, “Just knowing that’s the guy we can get the ball to and you know he’s gonna make a miss and he’s an expensive player, so that’s the guy you’re tryna get the ball to.” Not just Jones and Watson, one more player is also injured.

The offensive tackle David Bakhtiari was hoping that he had passed the hurdle of his knee injury, but that was not the case. He had three surgeries done but still wasn’t playing at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. This injury impacted his last two seasons on-field.
The 31-year-old has been struggling with this knee since his left ACL was torn on 31 December 2021. After recovering a little, the player was happy and started playing again but his knee started acting up again. Moreover, the player had to take a break and not play.
