Praises haven’t really stopped coming in for the Dallas Cowboys. They are the most expensive franchise in history lost to the Arizona Cardinals, but people still look at them as one of the finest players ever. There is a lot to learn from Dak Prescott and the gang, especially after what followed in the game against the Cardinals. Everyone has their own takeaways from the game, including players like Dez Bryant and Trevon Diggs have some learnings of their own.

Bryant recently posted a video on Instagram showing a snippet of what went down in the game. But to everyone’s surprise, Trevon Diggs, the injured Cornerback of the Dallas Cowboys had a funny reaction of his own. Cowboys might have taken a loss, but it doesn’t stop Trevon Diggs from praising his teammate, Michael Gallup for his skills.

The clip posted by Dez Bryant shows a focused Michael Gallup, receiving a pass from Dak Prescott. Gallup wins the slant against the Cardinals’ Kei’Trel Clark with exceptional technique. This got the attention of Trevon Diggs, who didn’t hesitate to comment and got quite a response to his comment.

‘Gets me every time in practice’ writes the CB in the comment section. This highlights the fact that Gallup is an exceptional wide receiver who is always one step ahead of his opposition. It took Clark some time to catch up to Gallup because he initially faked his trajectory very well. Though he was tackled, he won the slant without even hand-fighting.

The complicated maneuver requires focus and all the athletic prowess one can gather, to not be caught off-guard by the defense. It certainly left the Cardinals CB confused, as Gallup moved on further. The fact that Gallup ‘gets’ Diggs in practice every time shows us how good he is at taking the correct slant route. Diggs would have been lucky to see this in front of him if it were not for his torn ACL.

Cowboys’ ailing cornerback Trevon Digges

As it stands, Dak Prescott and Co. might have to deal with a weak defense for a while after Trevon Diggs went through an ACL injury. This happened during a training camp in one-on-one practice. He left on crutches and later went through an MRI, which finally revealed the injury. The Cowboys are at a crossroads as their defense has taken a massive hit.
