The Philadelphia Eagles completely dominated the fastest offense in the game, the Miami Dolphins, surpassing them by a wide margin. They managed to do it with a great amount of flair. Their aesthetic changes may have given them the edge they needed to become the best team in the season, with the only 6-1 record in the league. The team came onto the field at Lincoln Field with new personnel and sporting new uniforms, all thanks to Jeffrey Lurie and Howie Roseman. What?s interesting is, the new uniform got Rob McElhenney in his feelings.

Fans have also been buzzing about the team’s new look, which seems to indicate that the midnight green jersey may no longer be in use. Despite the hype surrounding the team’s new appearance, it’s not a new design. It is similar to what the Bucs did with their Creamsicle jerseys, but the Eagles have a lot of memories with the KG jersey.

Sounds familiar? Game of Thrones and It?s Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor Rob McElhenney wants Kelly Green jerseys to stay forever. McElhenney was not afraid to ask Jeffrey Lurie to make those changes permanent. Like him, a lot of people want the throwback jersey to come back.

The star shares his concerns on X as he writes, ? Mr. Lurie-I, along with the undersigned below via ??s, would like to petition you to make Kelly Green the official color of the@Eaglesnow and forever. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.?

Even NFL veterans like Clay Harbor didn?t shy away from requesting these changes.

Some fans and journalists got reminiscent of the time when the Eagles won the SB in a Kelly Green Jersey.

Whether the changes will be permanent or not can?t be said, but one thing is for sure, the Eagles sure like to switch things up now and then. In the past, Jalen Hurts and the Philly team switched it up in a game against the Jets, where they donned a white jersey and black pants. So, what?s the commotion about the new drip, really? Where does it come from?

The resurgence of the Philadelphia Eagles ???????????????????????????????????????

Well, the colorway is a throwback to when the team donned Kelly green as their primary colors during the late 1980s and the early 1990s. It was changed by Jeffrey Lurie after the 1995 season. However, due to its banal appearance, the jersey was no longer the people?s choice. The Eagles didn’t shy away from flaunting the new colorways either.

Ironically, people eventually got bored with Midnight Green and Lurie didn?t take much time to switch things up with the new look. Lurie?s idea to bring Kelly Green back in rotation has been in the pipeline for a long time. After a lot of complications, the idea came to fruition after Nike finally got the Kelly Green back in their color palette.
