Now, the situation could not be worse, and the 49ers Running Back, Christian McCaffrey, is injured as well. That also has a huge impact on the team’s QB- Brock Purdy. And the RB’s condition does not look very good either.

According to Dr. Jesse Morse, the running back had an oblique injury. He stated that the oblique muscles don’t usually cramp, and they are responsible for a twisting movement in the abdomen. McCaffrey was likely to return, but his every move on the field would be risky. Therefore, he has been ruled out of the game.
As per the doctor, the injury is similar to what Puca Nacua and Jaylen Waddle suffered before, and it would take around 21- 25 days to recover. With the Running Back suffering from an injury, the QB, Brock Purdy, is in great trouble.
