The former Falcon wide receiver Julio Jones joined the Eagles’ practicing squad on Tuesday afternoon, confirming his presence with the Super Bowl LVII contenders. Jones was a free agent when the Eagles joined hands with him this season. The seven-time Pro Bowl Jones is set to fill up the vacant position of reserved Quez Watkins, owing to his hamstring injury.

Hence, Jones will be the number 3 Eagles receiver once he is promoted to the active roster from the 53-men practice rooster. Julio Jones is one of the best players in the history of the Crimson Tide. The Tides wide receiver was a major favorite in his college career. Bringing the 13-year-old nostalgia back, as a sweet welcome gift, the Eagles have six other former Crimson Tide players waiting for him. QB Jalen Hurts, Landon Dickerson, Josh Jobe, Eli Ricks, DeVonta Smith, and Tyler Steen are anticipating another commendable Crimson Tide member to join them.
