The Cowboys lost to the San Francisco 49ers in what was the most nail-biting game in the NFL regular season till now. What was expected from the Dallas Cowboys did not come to fruition as the 49ers penetrated through the famous Cowboy’s defense like a battering ram. The final score was 42-10 for the better half of the 4 quarter. Dak Prescott looked like he was about to give up even before the game concluded. Perhaps that’s what Skip Bayless is grinding his teeth for.

Skip Bayless, known for his antics, is a self-proclaimed NFL pundit and a hardcore Dallas Cowboys fan. This time, he showed his antics on X, and let his inner man-baby out. At this point, he looks like the NFL’s own jester.

Apparently, Bayless thinks that it was Dak Prescott’s bad that the Cowboys lost the game. He recently uploaded a video on X (formerly Twitter) where he is seen walking in the frame with two jerseys on him. One of the jerseys donned the name Micah Parsons, and the other, yeah you guessed it, said Dak Prescott. Bayless doesn’t think for a moment and slams the Prescott jersey in the trash can. Then he looks at Micah Parson’s jersey but does not throw it in the bin.

As expected from Bayless, the video was captioned, ‘That’s it. I am DONE DONE with Dak Prescott. Jerry should be, too.’ That seems kind of extreme, considering his only job is to make comments as a fan and not actually play the game.

Perhaps in his mind, Micah Parsons was not in the wrong, and he had to blame Dak Prescott for it. Prescott had some missed passes in the game against the 49ers. The team also fumbled the ball a number of times and lacked touchdowns, and as hard as Micah Parsons tried, the 49ers were able to get through their defense and scored touchdowns upon touchdowns. Well, Skip Bayless repeats these shenanigans of his every year. He did the same thing with Prescott’s jersey sometime in the past as well.

The Cowboys are now in a slump and the 49ers are exceeding at everything that is asked of them and even more. The 49ers don’t fail to deliver. Bayless’ statement to Jerry Jones might be a bit extreme, partly because Bayless doesn’t know how to run a team and partly because he doesn’t own the richest team in all the sports.

The shattered expectations

There were debates about which team is the best, Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers with their offense or Dan Quinn and the Cowboys with their defense. Clearly, the Cowboys were not defensive enough as the 49ers rushed through them to score 42 points. This is the kind of defeat that the Giants went through when they played the Cowboys. Maybe Prescott and Co. got a bitter taste of their own medicine.

On the other hand, Brock Purdy proved why he is the best quarterback in the league. Not a lot of missed passes from him. In fact, the passes that Purdy made were nothing short of genius and they landed where he needed them to land. All he did was hand the ball to CMC and let him run the train. George Kittle also scored multiple touchdowns in the game, and apparently, these were the first touchdowns of his regular season.

Now, Brock Purdy has broken an NFL record and won the 10 straight game including the pre-season ones. There was an argument that he might be placed in the leagues of players like Tom Brady if he ever were to take his 10 consecutive win. Good job Brock Purdy! Also, the article would be incomplete without mentioning the 49ers tackles, and how they thrashed the Cowboys down every chance they got. Amazing game all in all.
