It seems like a great day for the couple, Kelsey Plum and Darren Waller. After his wife, Plum, won back-to-back NBA championships, it is now time for the tight end to shine, too. Darren Waller just caught a fifteen-yard pass from the quarterback Tyrod Taylor. Now, that is a new record after a long time.

Waller’s last score was a few months back in January, and this first record with the New York Giants did not go unnoticed. The skilled Tight End proved himself through this record, as it meant a lot not only to him but also to the Giants.

On October 22, 2023, Conner Hughes, on X, posted on the Tight End’s first touchdown with the New York Giants. He updated, “That was Darren Waller’s first touchdown with the #Giants, and first score since Jan. 1, 2023 (Raiders vs 49ers).” And that is indeed true.

This touchdown was also a huge deal for the Giants because it was their first TD in a month! Waller last scored a touchdown on January 1, 2023, while he was playing for the Las Vegas Raiders against the San Francisco 49ers. His trade brought changes not only to the franchise but also to the TE himself. Darren Waller turned into one of the best tight ends in the National Football League.
