The Giants are in turmoil. After their second consecutive loss of the season against the Seahawks, the team is clearly going downhill. As a result, many analysts and fans have taken over the internet by pointing out the many flaws of the team. All of them have one in common. Daniel Jones. The quarterback, who was ranked among the best quarterbacks in the NFL once, is making a ton of decisions, which is negatively pulling down his team, along with his reputation.
While the Giants and the fans alike had high expectations from the QB at the beginning of the season, all the expectations are now shattered. Giants’ declining scores are haunting them day by day. Amidst all this, the head coach Brian Daboll has someone in particular to blame.

As it might be evident, experts across the globe, especially the fans, are not too pleased with the performance of Jones this season. The Giants head coach Brian Daboll too is a part of this list of upset people now. In a recent video that went viral, Daboll was showing Jones the interception return for the touchdown by rookie Devon Witherspoon on the team tablet. However, after what seemed like a futile attempt at communication from the coach’s end, Daboll threw away the tablet out of frustration. And it is not a good sign when the head coach, who was a $40 Million QB for four years, is frustrated at a player.

When later asked about the stint, the Giant’s head coach wrapped it up in a professional manner. He said, “I’m not going to get the particulars of that. We just didn’t get the job done.” He further clarified what he expected from the QB that he didn’t get. “To not throw an interception,” he said. Meanwhile, it is rumored that the higher authorities are having second thoughts about the massive $160 Million deal they have offered Jones for the season due to his declining performance.

Is this season the worst performance by Daniel Jones?
The season isn’t proving to be the best for Daniel Jones. The Monday game against the Seahawks was fuel in the heated fire against Jones. He finished 27 of 34 with 203 yards, zero touchdowns, and two interceptions. Along with him, the offensive and the defensive liners were to blame, too. Jones also got sacked 11 times, all thanks to the offensive linemen, which was the most by Seahawks since 1986.
